PictureThanks to my friends at The Henry Autograph Collection for capturing me while live painting on the 30x40 canvas at a wedding!
Due to the fact that I've had experience painting anything the size of a baseball card to large wall sized murals, I am open for special requests. However, to keep things simple in this sometimes complicated world I've put together a size range list that is easy to live with and frame. All sizes listed are painted using acrylic paint on a high quality linen canvas. Since sizes and blank canvases are hard to visualize, please refer to the photos below for a better understanding of the sizes I stock with myself pictured alongside as a scale. I am on the taller side, but you get the idea!

18x24 This is a very popular size due to its versatility. If you are considering an heirloom type gift, I will recommend this size.

This is 22x28 and a more of a traditional dimension. This size (along with the unpictured 20x24) is I tend to recommend if you have a tall-ceiling venue and want to show a sense of height. It's currently underpainted and awaiting its future!

This is a 20x30 and kind of my favorite. I don't know why, lol

This is a 24x36 and the largest I will go for one night paintings. It is a nice, solid size that would be a great over the couch focal point.

This is a 30x40 sized painting. It's quite large and I roll studio time and post painting delivery into the price. The benefit of these large paintings is that there is plenty of space for details! (This may be one to request a frame for rather than trying to find one off the shelf)

Artist Accomodations

I request that (as long as I am not a secret mystery gift) I have the contact number for the commissioner of the art and the event planner. I only need about a 6'x6' space to work, within a reasonable view of the key moment that needs to be captured. I can typically work with the other vendors once on site and find a decent spot myself. Also, while I realize things can be hectic in table placement, for the sake of safety a place in an area with the least waitstaff foot traffic is preferred. A spot near an outlet and not right next to the speakers for the DJ makes me extra happy! (It's nothing personal, DJ's. Your speakers vibrate my canvas.) I have my own battery, so an outlet is not vital.

A vendor meal is appreciated and any travel accommodations (if applicable) will be negotiated into the overall price. I am willing to travel if I am able and for a drive longer than 2 hours one way I will roll the price of a hotel room into the quote.

Social Networking

I have a confession to make. I didn't go to school for art. I went to school for social work and also spent some time working as a security officer and in other information sensitive lines of work. (Weird, I know.) Because of this, I am sensitive to social networking. While I will take a photo of the finished work (and sometimes with a client) to use for marketing purposes, I don't typically personally identify or tag clients other than first names of the couple. If you want to identify yourself and tag me on facebook, insta, etc that is wonderful and I welcome and encourage it but I only retain previous clients info for my personal reference points. It's simply a quirk of mine because I'm old school. I do sometimes ask the names of other vendors, though, so I may connect with them. The nature of the beast with social media is that yes, us vendors must gather content to show off but your wedding is your wedding and I am conscientious of that.

Payment

After the initial consultation and a date has been agreed on, a deposit is requested to concrete the booking. This deposit is fully refundable if cancellation by phone or email is made at least 30 days before the event. The remaining balance is due no later than the night of, and can be made by check, cash, Paypal, Venmo, etc. I can technically accept Visa/Mastercard but the fees are fairly terrible so I encourage other forms of payment.
